About DVS Group
Founded in 2004, DVS Group was created to meet the underserved needs of Blue-Chip executives seeking to apply their operational expertise to business ownership. What began as a focused effort to generate proprietary acquisition opportunities for executives has evolved into a full-service M&A firm handling both buyside and sellside engagements for a broad range of clients: ESOPs, privately owned businesses, publicly-traded companies, family offices, non-profit organizations, and those same Blue-Chip executives.
Today, DVS Group focuses on transactions up to $250 million in enterprise value, primarily involving change of control, but we also work on debt restructurings, minority equity investments, and management buyouts. Our client engagements are evenly balanced between buy-side and sell-side mandates, providing a comprehensive understanding of transaction dynamics from both sides of the table.
DVS Group has national and global reach, having completed transactions in 22 U.S. states and four countries. While generally being industry-agnostic, DVS Group typically does not seek to work on real estate deals or hospitality companies.

Buy-Side Advisory
DVS Group was born as a buyside firm and our expertise in generating proprietary deal flow for our clients is deeply embedded in our DNA. Our proprietary buyside process focuses on sourcing proprietary opportunities through research and intentional, crafted messaging. Our buyside services are comprehensive – helping the development of a client’s acquisition strategy, researching targets, managing proprietary outreach, managing communications with and prioritization of targets, gathering data, modeling target financials, preparing valuation estimates, structuring offers and submitting IOIs and LOIs, negotiating LOIs, managing the due diligence process, managing external accounting and legal advisors, securing bank and other financing, actively participating in all negotiations through closing as well as post-closing deliverables. We are with our clients every step of the way.
Sell-Side Advisory
Selling a privately-held business is often the most significant lifetime event for the owners.
