Kevin is the Founder and Managing Partner of DVS Group, and focuses on leading the complicated transactions for DVS where he can apply his passion for achieving the ideal outcomes for his clients. Since founding DVS in 2004, Kevin has evolved the firm from initially focusing on Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition for executive buyers nationwide.

Kevin has driven DVS’s strategic vision to serve a broad range of clients – buyers, sellers, individuals, private companies, public companies, family offices, private equity, ESOPs and non-profits – in dealmaking. Through his leadership DVS has closed deals in 23 states and 4 countries outside of the United States. He has guided more than several hundred transactions in his time since founding DVS.

Kevin has routinely taught regular and continuing education courses for International Business Brokers Association, KS CPA Society, National Center for Employee Ownership, Vistage, Business Enterprise Institute, Right Management and Lee Hecht Harrison to name a few.

Since 2011, Kevin has been an enthusiastic and active member of Vistage, with plans to become a Vistage Chair.

Kevin is incredibly passionate about the social impact of business ownership and the author of “The Coming Wave Of Small Business Succession And The Role Of Stakeholder Synergy Theory” published in Global Finance Journal in 2019. Kevin is the founder of SISPE – Social Impact Sustainable Private Equity funds.

Kevin is a classic serial entrepreneur, even holding a patent for the Firefly Safety Lighter – a device that safely ignites fireworks without using flames or fuel. Kevin is an owner of, and an investor in multiple businesses, as well as sitting on multiple private business and non-profit Boards.

Kevin is a graduate from the University of Missouri with a B.S. in Food Science, and has worked as a food scientist RJ Reynolds and M&M Mars as well as a private wealth advisor at Merril Lynch, AXA and BMA prior to his career in mergers and acquisitions.
