The Deal
First becoming acquainted in 2008 as winners of the 25 Under 25 Award, recognizing Kansas City’s top businesses with 25 or fewer employees, DVS Group advised Acceleration Laboratory Services on their sale in 2009.
As Excite continued to scale its business and needed critical growth financing for its expansion into Contract Manufacturing, it was natural that Keith and Robert would turn to DVS to help with growth financing.
DVS was able to help Excite source critical non-dilutive bridge financing to allow Excite to weather the storm of Covid era supply chain disruptions and FDA approval delays that impacted start times for large new contract manufacturing contracts.
